Mr Han´s Chicken

Imagen

English language challenges

Imagen
Hello everyone, today I am going to talk about my experience learning English. Speaking from my own experience, I think that learning a new language is way more difficult than it looks. Before entering the university and having these English classes, I had the opportunity to be in a school where they taught this language, having a lot of classes per week. To be honest, for me learning English was always very difficult, so I never had the best grades in my class. But, despite that, nowadays I feel like a very privileged person. I understand the language very well at the level of understanding a full movie in English without subtitles or reading any text without problem. In that aspect I feel that I am very well prepared, the problem starts when I have to maintain a conversation, It's very complicated for me to speak fluently because I get too tangled up in finding the correct grammar and the correct words. Anyway I kept myself relaxed because I know with some practice I would achiev...

Changes to my study programme

Imagen
Hello everyone, welcome again to my blog. This time I am going to talk about some things of my career, about the changes that I would make to the study programme in specific. I study journalism in the Instituto de la comunicación e imagen (ICEI) in the Universidad de Chile, and actually I am in the fourth year of the five that you have to study to get the professional title. During these four years, I only could attend face-to-face classes in the first two, so in the last two years i couldnt have the opportunity to enjoy all the things that the university could bring to us. At the moment, i dont have the feeling about really wanting to change something about the program. I know that the things that happened these last two years (that didn't let me enjoy my career in its totality) isn' university`s fault. I think that I would have liked to have the subject of television at least in the second year, instead of having it in fourth year,  just to have had the opportunity to enjoy t...

Time travel to the future

Imagen
Hello everyone, today I am going to talk about time travel. The truth is that I don't like the idea of time travel very much. I think that the important things are happening in the present here right now, so I like to keep my mind thinking about those things. If I had no option, I think that I would travel with fear. I don't like the idea of knowing what's going to happen. Also, I would make a trip of five years in the future only, I'm not interested to know further. Why five years? just to know if i am going through the right way and not making bad decisions with my life. I will use time travel only to know experiences and have more opportunities in the next few years. I have understood that travel to the future is something possible, but travel to the past is not, so in that case I will never make a trip to the future if there is no way back. I think that I am very attached to the present.  Travel to the past is more interesting to me, fixing mistakes or sharing momen...

My future job

Imagen
Hello, today I am going to talk about my future job. Nowadays I find myself studying journalism, a very interesting career. I say interesting because this career offers you a diversity of jobs in the future, there are many areas (very different between them), where you can work.  At the moment, I am not very convinced in which area I want to work. I am waiting for my practice to decide well. But, if i had to choose one for this blog, i think that it would be sports journalism. Since I was a child, I always liked sports, especially to talk about them, having discussions and debates with my friends about our differing opinions of teams or players. So being a sports journalist gives you the opportunity to talk about all this stuff and also to be part of all this world. Depending on which area of sport journalism you work in, you will have the chance to go to the stadiums, to interview the players or coaches, have access to watch the different tournaments, to travel, etc.  I think...

Hello, today I am gonna talk about one of the greatest and most famous manga series(including their anime adaptation) of all time: One Piece. One Piece is a story written by Eiichiro Oda, a very known and recognized japanese manga artist. The first volume came out on the weekly shonen jump of japan in 1997, and at the time, a new chapter kept being published every week, this means that a new chapter of One Piece has been published every week for 24 years. Till date, One piece has 100 volumes of manga with more than 1015 chapters, and his anime adaptation has 994 episodes.  The story is about Monkey D. Luffy, a pirate that wants to become the king of all pirates and find the One Piece, the most wanted treasure of all time. During his adventure to reach his objectives, we can see a very well constructed universe with very well developed characters that offer us very iconics moments, and in my opinion, one of the best told adventure fiction stories of the 21st century. One Piece also ...

My Best Holidays

Imagen
My Best Holidays The best holidays I ever had were in 2015, during winter.  We went with my family to some hot springs in Chillán where we stay in a very comfortable hostal. The experience was amazing, the place was beautiful and the food was incredible too. As I say, we went during winter so the place was fully covered with snow, making our time spent there very fun. Me and my little brother played all day in the snow, throwing snowballs, making snowmans, sliding in sledges, etc. Then, in the afternoon, when we were tired, we have the option to bath in the thermal waters, making our very exhausting day into a very relaxing one. I think that this kind of trip is perfect to make with all the family, here you can have a very enjoyable familiar time while you relax from all the stress of the life in Santiago. Chillán is about four hours and a half away from Santiago, but the landscapes that you can finde there definitely make it worth it.
